Rosemary Mazzola

Gathered together on our boat to scatter her ashes were Ray, Maureen, Taylor, Tom Kelly and Charlie. Tom Kelly read a beautiful prayer he prepared while her ashes were lowered into the Gulf of Mexico.

Rosemary’s ashes were scattered in the Gulf of Mexico off the coast of Fort Myers Beach on January 3, 2025. It was the spot featured in hundreds of sunset pictures over the years. It was a perfect weather day with bright sun, calm seas and clear skies all the way to Sanibel.

Rosemary’s favorite place on earth was Fort Myers Beach, Florida. She enjoyed spending 40 plus years of winters and holidays here with her family and friends.
