On 12th July 2025, seventy family members and friends gathered on a glorious summer's afternoon at Kingfisher On The Quay, Mytchett, Surrey, to celebrate Rajesh's memory and reminisce about a life well lived.
On what would have been Rajesh's 63rd birthday, 12th June 2026, Rekha (his sister) and Jeremy (his partner of nearly 33 years) committed his ashes to the sea at 10:41AM in a biodegradable container, just off the coast of Cornwall near St. Anthony's Lighthouse, at the entrance to Falmouth Harbour. The same GPS coordinates, boat and skipper had previously been used for the committal of both of Rajesh's parents' ashes.

Rajesh was born on 12th June 1963 in Calcutta, India. He passed away on 28th March 2025 at Pax Hill Care Home in Bentley, Hampshire, from kidney cancer that had metastasised to his brain.
He was a remarkable man who touched many lives, and leaves behind a legacy of kindness and happy memories that will live on forever for all those who knew him.
According to Rajesh’s wishes, he had a direct cremation with no funeral service.
