My dad wishes were that he didn't want a funeral but to be scattered at sea instead.

Where better place than to scatter someone who loved the sea but 30 miles out where there was no land in sight. I scattered him in St George's Channel between Fishguard and Rosslare.

My dad was a Sea Captain in the Merchant Navy and he asked that he be scattered at sea anywhere convenient. After leaving the Merchant Navy, he worked on the Sealink ferry from Fishguard for a little while before also working on the Dover to Calais route.
