On May 24, 2026, family and friends gathered to celebrate the life of Mary Ann Snow. We shared stories, laughter, music, photographs, and memories of a woman who brought love, strength, and joy to so many. A few weeks following the celebration, her ashes were spread in a place that will forever remind us of her spirit and the memories we shared together.
Sunnyside was a place Mary loved throughout her life. As a child and later as an adult, she spent countless hours here overlooking Lake Ontario and the Toronto skyline. She would often sit on this hill with a blanket and her two beloved Pomeranians, taking in the view and enjoying the peace of the lakeshore.
On June 10, 2026 which would have been her 86th birthday. Her family returned her to one of her favorite places, spreading her ashes among the water, rocks, and hillside she cherished for so many years.
Born in Toronto on June 10, 1940, Mary Ann lived a life filled with adventure, laughter, resilience, and unconditional love. She was happiest when surrounded by family, sharing stories, creating memories, and making everyone feel welcome. Whether through her words of wisdom, her sense of humor, her love of music, or the traditions she passed down, she left an imprint on the hearts of all who knew her.
