Dad was cremated in 2016 and we held a small memorial with family and friends in 2017 at our home. His wish was to be scattered in the Mississippi having fond childhood memories of spending summers in Red Wing MN on the Mississippi. Mom was cremated in 2023 and her wish was to be combined with our dad. We held a small memorial with family and friends at her retirement community in 2023.

Ashes were scattered in the Mississippi in La Crosse WI.

Char was born in Kalamazoo MI in 1949 and Larry was born in West Allis WI in 1946. They married October 5, 1968. They had their first daughter in February 1970 and my sister in October 1973. Our dad was a machinist much of his life and our mom earned her BSN and was a psych nurse caring for the elderly. Dad passed Oct 16, 2016 and mom passed Dec 9, 2023.
