After a hard fought war Kurt lost his battle with esophageal cancer.
He was preceded in death by his parents Marlin M Mueller and Barbara J Mueller.
Born in Lakewood, WA. He lived in Tacoma all his life.
He graduated from Stadium High school where he was in band, played football, and baseball, active in ASB and was student body president his senior year.
He attended University of Puget Sound. Prior to graduating he was hired by the Tacoma Fire Department where he spent just over 31 years in a career he loved, many times stating he would choose to do it again.
He enjoyed his retirement by having the best lawn in the neighborhood and at his wife’s instance embarked on a deeper educational journey with wine, earning a WSET level 2 and working for Patterson Cellars pouring at SODO Urbanworks and many local events.
Kurt lived life as large as possible, never met a stranger, and made you feel welcomed.
We will all miss his easy laugh, enormous smile, and special humor.
He leaves behind his spouse Eryn, 2 daughters Allysen (Nic) and Kathryn, his sister Terri(Mark) and brother Doug (Josie) Nieces Molly (Michael) Amanda (Waylon) nephew Brandon(Maddy) a great nephew and 2 great Nieces
