Kaylin Naomi “KK” Ingersoll, 34, of Mason City, Iowa, left us far too soon.

Born on January 20, 1991, in Waverly and raised in Charles City, KK graduated from Charles City High School. She faced chronic pain with strength and grace, never losing her humor or her kindness. She always said she didn’t like kids, but anyone who saw her with them knew better she was patient, caring, and an amazing aunt. She had a gentle heart and a special bond with animals. KK loved to draw, stay active, and when her health allowed, spend time at the gym. She found joy in movies, live music, and time shared with her boyfriend.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents. She is survived by her mother, Candice Ingersoll; siblings, Larissa, Jennie, and Ryan; nephews, Giovanni and Ramon; nieces, Mara and Gabriella; grandparents, Russell and Teddi Ingersoll and Patricia Thompson; her boyfriend and best friend, Trenton Thompson; and extended family.
