Joshua Cecil

Joshua Cecil, 27, of Osawatomie, Kansas, passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2023. He was born on April 12, 1996 in Kansas City, Missouri to Ramel and Elizabeth (Wankum) Cecil.
Josh grew up in Olathe, KS and graduated from Olathe Northwest in 2014. Shortly after graduating he got his first full time job working at Gill Studios where he remained for 6 years. In November of 2021, he transitioned to working in the maintenance department at St. Joseph Medical Center.
He enjoyed riding motorcycles, driving fast cars and playing video games. He loved hanging with friends and loving on his sweet pup, Lacy.
Josh is survived by his loving parents, Lisa Cecil and Ramel Cecil; sister, Jessica Hackman; brother in law, Derek Hackman; nieces Kaylie and Ava; nephew, Jayden and grandmother Joan Wankum.
He was preceded in death by his uncle, Drew Wankum, and grandpa, Jerry Wankum.
