Though he may be physically absent, Geoff's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. His legacy of love, service, and integrity will continue to inspire and guide us in the days ahead. Rest in peace, Geoff, knowing that you are loved and cherished always and forever.

Geoff was the beloved husband of Mary, cherished father of Laurna and Sophie, and a much loved Poppa to his grandchildren Eden, Lila, Zane, and Zoe. He was the son of the late Geoff and Phyllis Hall, and a beloved brother to Sue, Gill, Annie, Martin, and Sally, extending his love and support as a brother-in-law, father-in-law, and uncle.
Throughout his distinguished career in the Royal New Zealand Navy, Geoff exemplified integrity, courage, and dedication. His commitment to service was unwavering, and he served his country with honour and distinction. Geoff was not just a Royal NZ Naval officer, but a seafaring adventurer with a twinkle in his eye and a penchant for mischief. He brought laughter and joy to every moment, regaling his family and friends with tales of daring escapades and salty sea adventures. Geoff’s zest for life was contagious, and his spirit of fun was infectious. His presence was like a guiding star, leading us through life’s waves with humour and warmth.
Beyond his naval career, Geoff was known for his warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for his family. He was a pillar of strength for those around him, offering guidance, support, and love in abundance. His presence brought joy to all who knew him, and his memory will continue to be a source of comfort.
