Brian Francis Quinn




We had a celebrate funeral where we played the Z cars, The Mighty Quinn and Ferry across the Mersey afterwards we raised a glass of Guinness to him

Dads ashes have been let go in the Mersey and was released in front of the new Everton football ground

Dad was born in Liverpool and was one of ten children one of whom was his twin sister.
Dad joined the Royal engineers and my uncle who was serving with him suggested dad write to his sister Mary and they later married and after moving around settled in Batley-West Yorkshire. Following a divorce dad moved back to Liverpool, residing in Bootle
Dad loved betting on the horses, drinking Guinness, a Sunday Roast dinner and Everton football team. Dad did a lot of fund raising especially for Help the Heroes
Dad didn’t often swear but liked to say “Piggin’ ell” and “go swivel”
