Memorial information such as a loved one’s name, dates, story, photographs, captions, scattering or interment details, and exact map location or coordinates.
A GEO-code used to create or verify a memorial.
Information submitted through our contact form, including your name, email address, optional phone number, preferred contact method, and message.
Your email address and communication preferences if you subscribe to newsletters or marketing.

Information collected automatically. When you use the website, we and our service providers may collect your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, approximate location, pages viewed, links clicked, referring website, session dates and times, and security or error logs.

We may also receive limited information from companies that provide hosting, maps, CAPTCHA, analytics, advertising, email, embedded media, security, and related services. If you access Etern.life through a Passages International product or website, we may receive information needed to verify a GEO-code or support the connected experience.

2. Public Memorial Information

Every memorial published on Etern.life is public. Anyone may view the memorial and its exact mapped location without being the account owner. Public information may appear in search-engine results or be copied, archived, or reshared by other people and services.

You are responsible for having permission to publish the stories, photographs, and other information you submit. Please consider the wishes, dignity, privacy, and safety of family members and other living people before posting.

Do not publish home addresses, private contact details, financial information, government identification numbers, health information, account credentials, sensitive information about minors, or anything that could create a safety risk.

To request a correction or removal, contact support@etern.life. We may ask you to verify your identity, account ownership, relationship to the memorial, or authority to make the request. Information may remain temporarily in backups, search-engine caches, archives, screenshots, or copies controlled by others.

Create and manage accounts, verify GEO-codes, and provide the Memorial Map.
Publish, display, search, edit, share, or remove memorials.
Respond to questions and provide customer support.
Send account, security, policy, and service-related messages.
Send newsletters or marketing where permitted. You may unsubscribe at any time.
Understand how people use Etern.life, improve the website, and measure communications or campaigns.
Prevent fraud, misuse, and security problems; enforce our Terms; and comply with legal obligations.

Where required by law, we process information with your consent, to provide the Services you request, to comply with legal obligations, or for legitimate business purposes such as operating, supporting, securing, and improving Etern.life.

Publicly, when you publish a memorial or other public content.
With service providers that support hosting, storage, maps, CAPTCHA, analytics, advertising, email, customer support, security, and backups.
With Passages International or business partners when needed to verify a GEO-code, support the connected customer experience, or fulfill your request.

As part of a business transaction such as a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.
With your consent or direction.
