Shaun Alexander Kirk
Shaun’s celebration of life service was very fitting to him. In his honour we asked for Scotland rugby shirts, tartan, rangers tops, or wear the colour blue. His entrance into the crematorium was to the theme tune of James Bond, where we all stood and applauded him. The Scottish rugby team Highland Cathedral played at the commital. A beautiful day for a much loved beautiful soul ❤️
Shaun moved to Dundee when he went to university, he fell in love with the city. We used to go and stay with him often as a special place we used to visit was “The Law” a beautiful high spot that over looks Dundee. Where he lived he could see “The Law” from his living room window so it seemed the perfect place to scatter his ashes.
My brother uncle and great uncle who died unexpectedly, at the young age of 53 on Jan 17th 2023. A very much loved part of our very small family, who is very much missed, a huge void in not only our hearts but also in his circle of friends. A very well educated scholar, who won awards at university in their debating teams, a true gentlemen, and life and soul of a party. Shaun loved to travel, an avid reader of a variety of topics from history, politics, auto biography’s. A very well respected colleague in his professional field, who trained many to go onto their successful career. Shaun was a massive James Bond fan as well as Indiana Jones. Shaun wore his beloved kilt with his Scotland rugby top, and to keep him company on his next journey he had two of his favourite books in beside him James Bond and Indiana Jones. He also had letters from his immediate family photographs of his only great niece and nephew twins who were the love of his life, and a single red rose from myself.
