Sarah loved Kayaking and canoeing so family and friends celebrated Sarah's life on a boat trip around Bristol Harbour reading tributes, sharing stories and enjoying some excellent refreshments. We then scattered her ashes in a beautiful spot upstream on the River Avon.
Born on 27 August 1974, and passing on 8 August 2024, at the age of 49, Sarah faced a challenging journey after being diagnosed with ME in 2013. Her condition steadily worsened over the years, and in the complete absence of any treatments or a cure, she endured profound physical and mental suffering. After years of unbearable pain, Sarah ultimately chose to end her own life. She is now free at last.
