My family and I celebrated my dad's life with a service of thanksgiving. We are various different religions so we felt it was better to celebrate his life rather than have a traditional funeral service.
It was lovely, with poetry, music and all of us sharing stories of dad's life. We all obviously had various different memories of our time with dad and sharing them was great.
