Pete's life was celebrated with a moving Navy ceremony at sea, honouring his service and lifelong connection to the Navy. His ashes were scattered from a naval vessel departing from Portsmouth Royal Dockyard, conducted by the Naval Chaplaincy. The ceremony was attended by his daughter Michelle, son-in-law Ben, and granddaughter Rachel.

Peter was born on 3 April 1938 and passed away on 21 January 2018. A nuclear testing veteran, he made the decision to donate his body to science. More of his story will be shared by the family in due course.
