She was piped into Altrincham Crematorium on 27th January where a touching eulogy was read along with favourite poems and an original poem
written by her grand-daughter.
Afterwards at Statham Lodge Hotel
in Lymm to raise a glass (and a cuppa), and of course cakes.
It was a fitting occasion with many people recalling stories and
memories.
Lots of tears but most importantly
lots of laughter.
In our hearts, everyday
and with every bargain found.
Born in Greenock 1935.
Married Alistair Gerrard, had 3 children and 6 grand children.
Moved to Lymm in Cheshire in 1977 and remained there until her death in January 2025.
She now returns home.
