The Ayre family gathered together at South Wollongong Beach on Sunday 14 January 2024 to reunite Allan with his second home South Beach, where the family spent most weekends; swimming, surfing, fishing, and playing on the rocks before beating the southerly buster home and then enjoying ice- cream Sundae.

Allan was husband to Lee, father to Dean, Kellie and Brett and grandfather to Denym. He loved the beach- enjoying fishing and surfing, rode motorbikes and cooked a mean burger.
