Jazmine Margaret Fitzgerald
Jazzie has holidayed at Port Hughes for one month in 2022 and 2023. These 2 months she absolutely loved spending with family and friends at the caravan park. Enjoying watching most sunsets. Squiding, crabbing, swimming, paddle boarding and sunbaking. She learnt to crochet while holidaying here. Dinner at the Tavern was a treat, ordering either calamari! Or ribs. She also found a Combi van she wanted to buy from a friend at the park!
Because Port Hughes was such a happy place for Jazzie and we knew she couldn’t wait to come back we decided to spread some of her ashes in an earth urn at sunset at the beach.
It was a beautiful sunset on the Monday night 12th February 2024, beautiful warm day with no wind. So many family and friends came to send her off with roses bought by a handful of lovely people thrown into the water. A few beautiful words were spoken beforehand and afterwards a swim with Jazzie was had in the amazingly warm water.

Jazmine was a beautiful, strong, determined and smart young lady. She was organised, loving, thoughtful and very creative. Soo talented at everything she set her mind to. At 19 she lost her battle with Pulmonary Hypertension which she was diagnosed with when she was 2yo. A really brave trooper she was. Always smiling. Always had goals and worked hard to achieve them.
