Elizabeth Christine Cruz-Williams
Family and friends and colleagues... her little tribe... we all gathered in West Covina to mourn and share and miss our beloved Elizabeth.
Liz's last wish was to have her ashes spread in her favorite place —the ocean. She loved the water and wanted to be in the Pacific ocean swimming off the coast of Santa Barbara. So, we picked a spot close to where she was married in August 2012, by the Cabrillo Pavilion in SB... That's where she wanted to be. This is part of her journey home to The Lord.
Til we are together again... Luv4Ever, Liz.
A daughter. A sister. A wife. An auntie. A friend. A servant. A woman.. Elizabeth Christine Cruz-Williams was one-of-one. In a very short time, she lived a life that touched hundreds, arguably thousands of people. There’s no one title or phrase that sums up everything Elizabeth accomplished or even hints at all the lives she touched and made better.
She was a social worker, a family therapist, a Dodgers’ fan, a sports fan, a fan of California, a traveler, a swimmer, a foodie, a sampler, a hugger, a dreamer, an organizer, a planner, a thinker, a talker, a helper, a doer, a liver…
She really loved her family and loved her life. She loved everyone’s life and always wanted to help make everyone’s life better. Elizabeth was and remains loved, missed, prayed for and mourned, and honored. There will never be anyone else like her.
