We scattered Eddie's ashes over looking the sea his happy place he loved been on holiday his family time most of his family was there we went to Filey because we walked on that beach too many times to count on what would of been his 77th birthday it was a sad / sweet moment it was his wish to be there his last journey was by train because his first family holiday was by train

Eddie was a family man he didn’t have a family until 1982 when he met me his wife of 41 years but I’d seen him before then about 10 years or so he was sat in his friends parents house in the kitchen perch on a stool with a drink in his hand and a cig in the same hand we didn’t see each other till 982 when my daughter was in hospital he’d go and give her extra pudding and lollies he was a chef who work in the hospital she was a patient nearly 5 years old broken leg needed to be in traction for nearly 8 weeks no childrens ward only a geriatric one that’s where we met properly we went out together and it was lovely to be treated with respect and he loved me for who I was we eventually got married a short while after we met we had 2 girls he always called them his girls then another girl and a boy he loved his kids and was happy when the grandchildren came along he loved it each baby that came along he’d tell everyone how many there were
