Bruce Maynard

Follow Bruce’s cremation a celebration of his life was held at Cissbury Barns in Sussex. Present at both were many friends and relatives including of course his sons with their wives and children.

Bruce’s ashes were placed in the sea at the mouth of the river Arun in Littlehampton.

Bruce was born in Yorkshire on 3rd January 1940. He joined the Royal Navy as a boy. On leaving the navy he worked in fire safety and also as a driving instructor which is how he met his wife Janet. They had two sons and five grandchildren. Bruce loved to watch cricket and to cruise.
