Alf and Margaret Brewer

Dad was born on 29/10/1935 and grew up in essex, his parents being farm labourers. He is one of 5 children. Mum was born 19/07/1939, she grew up in Brookend Chelmsford and is the youngest of two sisters. Dad and mum married on 19/07/1958 at Springfield church. They lived in various places. One being Peakes close Tiptree where they had a dance studio and taught Ballroom dancing. In 1974 they asked me at 6 weeks old and we moved to Witham in 1977.

Mum and Dad liked to holiday and visited on one of the first package holiday ms to soain in 1969. They also visited Australia and at one point applied to emigrate there but didn’t have enough points.

In 2003 they had their first grandchild Niamh and in 2013 their second Violet was born. In 2005 they moved to Qawra in Malta to be near to my Mums cousin Sue and her husband Richard. They loved Malta and would spend many days visiting the beach together.

They loved their life together and were very much In love. sadly dad passed away on 6th June 2022, at the age of 86. Mum followed just 16 weeks later passing away on 21st of September 2022. They just could not be apart.
