Barbara Snell

We had a Celebration of Life Party with family and a few close friends after Mom passed away in April 2023.
Her final wish was for Gerald and I to take a cruise and scatter her ashes at sea which we did on June 6, 2025.

In the Atlantic Ocean traversing from Grand Turks and Caicos Islands to Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Barbara Snell was born Jan 29, 1944 to Robert and Ethel Stubbs in Chicago, Illinois. She had one sister who was older than her whose name was Gloria Dorsey who preceded her in death. She was married to and divorced from Gerald Snell Sr. They shared 2 children Gerald Snell Jr who has 3 adult children ( Brianna, Kaitlynn and Erika) and Tracey Snell-Osgerby and her husband Rich who have 2 adult children (Lexi and Becca who is married to Mason). Barbara also leaves behind several nephews and a niece that love her dearly. She loved to travel and had a group of friends that she took several trips with. She also had friends at home that she went to lunch with on a regular basis. She was a woman of strong faith. She loved reading the Bible. Had a strong prayer life and would pray for you whenever you asked. SHE LOVED THE LORD. She is dearly missed. Mom, Gerald and I Love you and miss you. Rest in peace.
