The family stayed in Nobel at Dillon Cove. We rented 2 cottages and drove down into Killbear Provincial Park to spread their mixed ashes off a granite rock outcrop into Georgian Bay, as per their request.
They are being remembered where they loved. Georgian Bay, Killbear Provincial Park, Beaver Dams, Sunset Rock.
They met in 1952 and have been together ever since. I always knew they would pass within a year of each other – and they did. They loved each other to death and hated being separated. So we had their ashes mixed and spread at their favourite place.
