Patricia Dahmke
Patricia Lorraine Dahmke was born on March 26, 1949 in Columbus, Nebraska to Chris and Eulalia Dahmke. In 1951, the family moved from the Engel farm west of Duncan to Columbus where she began kindergarten at Lincoln School 3rd Ward. They relocated again in 1957 to Osceola when Chris was promoted to manager of the Gas Company. She participated in Job’s Daughters and later became a member of Eastern Star. She graduated from Osceola High School in 1967 and chose to pursue a career in nursing. She attended Immanuel School of Nursing in Omaha, graduating in 1971. She became a Registered Nurse in 1972 and worked at Immanuel Medical Center, specializing in obstetrics and neonatal care, where she was promoted to Clinical Supervisor for the Neonatal Nursery. In 1984 she joined Professional Research Consultants, a health care marketing research firm in Omaha. She worked as office support staff, conducted physician interviews, managed project tracking and production, and was later promoted to Director of Operations & Purchasing. She retired in 2021. She was passionate about her work, enjoyed being outdoors and working in her garden. She is survived by her brother Mark, her aunt MaryAnn Steinauer and cousins.
