Pam Schneider
We had a traditional celebration of life in October of 2024 in the town where we spent our childhood. We served her favorite food, shared memories, drank a beer (just one or two) and spent time with those who loved Pam the most. She also has a section of land with a bench and small remembrance monument by a lake at a local memorial garden. She often told us how much she hated the dirt and wanted to be scattered in the Bahamas, our favorite spot to visit as a family. With her sister (one via FaceTime due to illness,) her kids, their father, and the closest of friends, we made her wish come true on January 3, 2025.
Pam loved to do things big, and spend a dollar or two while at it. On January 3, 2025, we took a chartered yacht day trip and did all the things she would have loved to see us do. Before we headed back to the dock, we shared our favorite memories and placed the biodegradable water urn in the clearest part of the ocean we could find. Not an ounce of dirt in sight.
The greatest woman we have ever known and the one who showed us how to love passed away on September 11, 2024. She had the biggest heart, was our most fierce advocate and loved a Dr. Pepper more than anyone. We miss you every moment of every day, Mom. ❤
