Kevin Roy
Kevin found joy in the simple things: a good game of tennis, a walk through the woods, a well-cooked meal. He wasn’t a fan of cooking, but when he did it, he did it with love—because he knew it made us happy. Those moments around the dinner table, with him grumbling about being in the kitchen but secretly enjoying every bite, are memories we’ll carry with us forever.
He loved bringing us to the mountains, to the river where we swam and laughed and felt so alive. We scatter some of his ashes at these places, knowing that he’s not truly gone. He’s in the rustle of the leaves, in the sound of the river, in the feeling of the sun on our faces. He’s in every tennis match we watch, every walk we take in the woods, and every meal we share together.
Kevin may not have been the most outgoing person, but to us, his family, he was everything. He was our anchor, our protector, our source of endless love and laughter. He lived his life on his terms, and he left us with a legacy of love, strength, and countless memories that we will treasure forever.
