Richard Alan Barry Jones, 64, of Rogers, Arkansas sadly and unexpectedly departed this life on January 13, 2024. He was born on May 5th, 1959 in Arlington, Massachusetts.
Rick is survived by his parents Frederick Hall Jones and Ann Delores (Ferguson), his wife Laura Jones (married for 37 years), his son Mark Jones, daughter-in-law Natalie Jones, sister Joann Getchell, and niece Zoe Getchell.
He loved searching for rare antiques and artifacts. He was considered the modern-day Indiana Jones. In particular, he had a passion for early Colonial American history and the American Revolution. Rick was also a talented musician and enjoyed playing the guitar and singing. He loved making his friends and family laugh from his quirky jokes and light-hearted personality.
Rick graduated from Westford Academy High School in Massachusetts. He attended college at both New Hampshire College and California State Polytechnic University in Pomona, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree. He worked in the software tech industry for over 35 years.
