With his children Steven, Kevin and Mike, daughters-in-law Marjon and Pauline, grandchildren Ryan and Sean, sister Bep, brothers-in-law Henk and Herman and sister-in-law Cora, we sailed from the Drimmelen marina off to Lage Zwaluwe to lower his ashes nearby Ameroever 48. Hereafter we raised a toast to life together with a nice glass of Champagne, as we knew him to do. Then we sailed back to Drimmelen and enjoyed a delicious dinner together as a conclusion to a beautiful life.
Wim's ashes was lowered in the water with a water burial envelope in the river Amer, nearby where we lived at the Ameroever 48, for his final resting place. This is where we lived for 30 years and spent many happy years as a family with our children Kevin and Mike. Jeanny
Born in Rotterdam on 4 February 1945 and passed away on 9 February 2023.
He will be remembered as a wonderful loving husband, caring dear father, father-in-law and grandfather, but also a family man, people person, social, burgundian and bon vivant.
