Lenora Bogardus

Lee and John took up sailing together at the request of the their oldest son, Phil. They grew to love being on the water and sharing adventures in the Pacific Northwest. After John passed away in 2007, Lee felt it would be fitting to spread his ashes from a sailboat in Puget Sound. After Lee passed in 2023, her five children decided that Lee should join John by spreading her ashes in the same area from the same sailboat. It was a gloriously sunny day in Seattle and the perfect send-off for Mom!
