Cheryl loved Walton-on-the-Naze. She used to visit there as a child, took her daughter Julie there when she was young and her grandson Ollie too. It was the perfect place to send her on her final voyage.
Cheryl was a much loved Mum, Nan, Sister, Mum-in-Law and Friend.
Cheryl will always be remembered for are her crochet knitted blankets – she made them for new arrivals in her own family, for friends and friends of friends. She was also known for her famous Mary Poppins bag. If Cheryl was at your house and you couldn’t find a needle, safety pin, tissue or nail file, she would produce it out of her handbag.
Cheryl you are so dearly loved. You are in our hearts and our minds, and we’ll carry you with us as we move forward with our lives.
Everything you have done is still done.
Everyone you love is still loved.
